For fans who have been sitting tight energetically for another follow-up to The Blair Witch Project, there may be some encouraging completion to the present game-plan. Eduardo Sánchez, who co-composed the initial 1999 unpleasantness blockbuster with Daniel Myrick, revealed in a meeting with Dread Central that they have both been inspecting The Blair Witch Project 3 with Lionsgate, with assumes that they may start creation inside an accompanying couple of years. 

"We have been chatting with Lionsgate and there has been a slight bit of improvement yet nothing is concrete. The film gives off an impression of being certain to me, in any case, it's basically an issue of it being the advantageous time. I'm assuming it will happen sooner than later now, yet I, for the most part, say that. There's reliably thunderings and certain contemplations being pushed around and such. While I don't have anything firm to talk about now, it wouldn't dumbfound me if something happened inside the next year or two." 

In 2011, Eduardo Sánchez said that both he and Daniel Myrick have been set up to impact The Blair To witch Project 3, however, it's all up to Lionsgate now. Neither one of the producers was locked in with the 2000 "continuation" Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2, which was decried by fans and faultfinders alike. Eduardo Sánchez said in 2011 that their follow-up will essentially ignore the events of Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. Examine what he expected to state right around four years earlier concerning the turn-off.
